| My mother always said babies aren't late or early, but they come when they're ready. Zephyr, a Livius daughter, foaled this Galapard filly two weeks ahead of schedule. As you can see, the baby is full size and very healthy! The new baby is a full sister to Gitana. These photos show her at about 10 days old. At three weeks she was romping through the back pasture, with her "older" brother Glory (by less than a year) as her babysitter. |

Summer
Destiny foaled Godiva in early summer 2004. Godiva has a large extended family. There's Thor, the miniature/Shetland cross who thinks he's her daddy (note to SWANA - Godiva is the daughter of Galapard. Thor is still a gelding). And there's all her brothers and sisters. The three yearlings - Gus, Glory and Norie - are enchanted with their younger sisters. Gus and Norie in particular pal around with Godiva.
